Open the link your friend sent. If you need to sign up or sign in, EchoBay returns you to the island preview afterwards. Confirm the visit to enter without replacing your home island.

On the island

Talk, leave a message, and shape one shared place

  1. Move freely between the islands you know

    Visiting a friend never replaces your home island. Use the island switcher or archipelago map to move between places you have joined.

  2. Tap a voice room and start talking

    EchoBay connects and attempts to enable your microphone. Members, mute, remote volume, and leave controls stay together.

  3. Missed the conversation? Leave a voice bubble

    Leave a short recording on the island. Friends can play it later without searching through chat history.

  4. Shape the shared space over time

    Owners and admins can place voice rooms, structures, and decorations. Everyone else sees only the actions their role allows.

Install and use

How do I install EchoBay on Windows?

Run the downloaded EchoBay-Setup-x64.exe and follow the prompts. It includes the required runtime files and creates a standard uninstall entry.

Why might Windows show an unknown publisher warning?

The Closed Beta installer does not yet have a commercial code-signing certificate. Download only from downloads.echobay.club and verify its SHA-256 if needed.

How do I install the Android APK?

After downloading, Android may ask you to allow installs from your browser. EchoBay never asks you to disable device security and is not distributed through third-party download sites.

Can I use EchoBay without installing it?

Yes. Open the web app in a supported desktop or mobile browser. Your browser will request microphone access the first time you join voice.

How do I join a friend's island?

Open their share link or enter the short code, preview the island, and confirm the visit. This does not replace your home island.
